Yes absolutely, you just need to use the "Unlock Check" Button in MHD app, no MHD license is required for that!
No you cant do that (most are OBD read protected anyway), but you can always install a MHD tune over it and also flash back to OEM BMW map at any time (no stock backup required)!
No you cant do that, 3rd party tunes can not be simply modified, you can only fully flash a MHD OTS map or MHD custom tune!
Some may work but we do not recommend using a different adapter and we also cant give support if something fails, our MHD adapter is designed to work with MHD, has the quickest flash times and the safest connection to your DME.
This is one of the most common issues due to lack of good maintenance, weak parts such as old plugs and coils will always start to show after more stress (tune) is put on them, replace those and do frequent maintenance.

Final Information

Failed Flash Checklist:

1. Make sure to only use the MHD Universal WIFI adapter and latest MHD app (check updates on App Store)
2. Make sure Ignition is fully on (3x Start button on G-Series BMWs, on E/F Series you must see the fuel level)
3. Make sure CarPlay is fully deactivated if you use it (remove your car from bluetooth settings)
4. Turn off Bluetooth FULLY for flashing (in settings not drop down menu)
5. Make sure that you have nothing installed that could block the OBD Port especaially devices like a Data Display, Exhaust Flap Controller, JB4, Anti Theft etc.
6. We highly recommend to use a good battery charger with at least 15A to maintain stable voltage for flashing.

How to data-log properly Checklist:

1. Use Auto Logging Mode
2. Log in PSI not BAR
3. Reset Logging Channels To Default
4. DSC Fully Off, 3rd or 4th Gear Manual Mode.
5. Full Throttle from 2000-7000RPM
